We now offer a set of tools that will allow our clients to very easily import Microsoft Word & Excel files into their AutoCAD drawings.
Our development of ‘MS Word & Excel Importers’ gives our clients the ability to very easily import Word and Excel documents into their drawings. The tool allows the end user to simply browse to select the file that they need to import, select the title block that the Word file is going into, and then press the ‘Generate…’ button. The word document will then populate the selected title block, column by column. If the title block fills up with text, it will automatically add a new title block and continue to import all the text (see below). Features

The
main problem that most people have with importing Word and Excel documents
into AutoCAD is the limitation of the size of documents that Window’s
can handle. What many people do is spend time separating documents, or
keep cutting and pasting the document into AutoCAD and trying to put it
all back together in a presentable fashion. This is a very time consuming
process, but perhaps more importantly, you do not have a link between
the source document and the imported document in AutoCAD.
