Autodesk Inventor Series 10
Autodesk Inventor Series is designed to work with affordable hardware. Its segmented data architecture improves capacity to meet your specific needs, enabling you to design large and complex assemblies and giving you the ability to
Stretch the bounds of innovation, help reduce costs, and cut time to market with a visual design environment that includes capabilities for virtual prototyping. With the power to test product design and check for interferences in a virtual environment, you can resolve issues without creating expensive physical prototypes-leading to the delivery of a better finished product.
With a workflow that enables you to associate parts to assemblies, Autodesk Inventor makes it easy to update your model. Any changes made to a part or assembly ripple through all associated parts, assemblies, presentations, and drawings, helping you save hours or even days of work. Improve your workflow even further by creating designs based on real-world mechanical relationships. Start by researching engineering theory, formulas, and algorithms using a comprehensive manufacturing knowledge base accessible from anywhere in Autodesk Inventor. Use component generators to create parts and assemblies based on user input of real-world attributes to easily build complex assemblies like mechanical connections, gears, power screws, and shafts. The mechanical calculator functionality optimizes the creation of welds, solders, and plates or validates mechanical designs that require braking, clamping, or bearings for operation.
Ready Drawings Accelerate and streamline the creation of production drawings while minimizing errors. With automatic drawing views, you can create front, side, detail, isometric, section, and auxiliary views of your 3D model and then quickly dimension and annotate them.
Autodesk Inventor helps you share 3D designs with members of your design team who use AutoCAD Mechanical software. These users can open a native Autodesk Inventor part or assembly file to create a detailed drawing. If a component is updated in Autodesk Inventor, changes are automatically reflected in the AutoCAD Mechanical drawing, so drawings can be finished in less time. Fully integrated with Autodesk Inventor Series, Autodesk Vault makes data management more efficient by organizing your design data and protecting it from inadvertent changes. This easy-to-use data management tool makes work-in-progress data more accessible and reusable, while avoiding the versioning problems inherent in sharing files among workgroups. Most important, Autodesk Vault is tightly integrated with your Autodesk design applications, making data management easier and more efficient than ever before.
With a design environment that offers fewer, smarter commands and an advanced help system, Autodesk Inventor Series is easy to learn and offers unparalleled ease of use. Now you can use software that works the way you do, to improve efficiency, maximize the value of your existing design data, and take a risk-free path from 2D to full 3D productivity-without complex and expensive IT support.
