- What is this promotion?
From May 5, 2008, until July 18, 2008, eligible AutoCAD LT® 2006/2007/2008/2009 software customers
can trade up (crossgrade) to AutoCAD® 2009 software or an industry-specific vertical solution for one
low promotional SRP of US$2495.
- Who can participate in this promotion?
This offer is available to the following customers who own commercial licenses of AutoCAD LT 2006,
2007, or 2008. Commercial licenses of AutoCAD LT 2009 are also eligible if these licenses were on
Autodesk® Subscription prior to April 1, 2008:
• Commercial customers in the United States and Canada
• Autodesk Strategic Accounts in the United States and Canada
• United States Government (Federal/State/Local) accounts purchasing via DLT
• Canadian Government (Federal/Provincial/Local) accounts purchasing directly from Autodesk
- Who is not eligible for this promotion?
This offer is not available to the following customers:
• AutoCAD LT 2009 customers not on subscription prior to April 1, 2008
• AutoCAD LT 2008 licenses purchased after May 1, 2008
• Education customers and Education to Commercial migrations
• Autodesk store purchases

• Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2006
• Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2007
• Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2008 (purchased before May 1, 2008)
• AutoCAD LT 2009 (on Autodesk Subscription prior to April 1, 2008)
- What are the eligible crossgrade paths?
Eligible AutoCAD LT customers can crossgrade to any of the following products at the promotional price
of $2,495:
• AutoCAD® 2009
• AutoCAD® P&ID 2009
• AutoCAD® Architecture 2009
• AutoCAD® Mechanical 2009
• AutoCAD® Electrical 2009
• Autodesk® Inventor® Suite 2009
• Autodesk® Inventor® Professional 2009
• Autodesk® Inventor® Routed Systems Suite 2009
• Autodesk® Inventor® Simulation Suite 2009
• Revit® Architecture 2009
• AutoCAD® Revit® Architecture Suite 2009
• Revit® Structure 2009
• AutoCAD® Revit® Structure Suite 2009
• AutoCAD® MEP 2009
• AutoCAD® Revit® MEP Suite 2009
• AutoCAD® Map 3D 2009

- What is the pricing for this promotion?
During the promotional period, eligible crossgrade paths are priced at one low promotional SRP of
US$2,495.
- What are the ordering requirements to qualify for this special promotional offer?
Customers will need to provide:
• One valid serial number of the qualifying AutoCAD LT product for each AutoCAD LT Crossgrade
Promotion purchased
• Orders with paths from AutoCAD LT 2009 must also include Autodesk Subscription contract
number
- Are there any restrictions or special handling for customers with AutoCAD LT 5/10/25-seat multi-packs
(formerly known as lab packs)?
Yes, customers with multi-seat packs of AutoCAD LT must crossgrade the same number of seats as
their multi-pack (i.e., multi-seat pack licenses may not be split-up).
- Is Autodesk Subscription required to be eligible for this promotion?
No, Autodesk Subscription is recommended, but not required. Some of the eligible crossgrade paths
do not have upgrades available (e.g., Revit products), so customers should be encouraged to add
Autodesk Subscription at the time of purchase.
- If I have a multi-year subscription contract on my AutoCAD LT, does the remainder of the multi-year
subscription contract get migrated to the new product?
Only the remainder of current year of the contract will be migrated to the crossgraded product
subscription at no additional cost. Additional subscription charges will be applied to the remaining
years on the existing contract.
- How can a customer verify their serial number?
Customers can find the serial number by selecting "Help - Product and License Information."
Customers must have the serial number in order to qualify for this promotion.
- What if the customer wants to crossgrade to a network version of AutoCAD or a vertical solution? Are
there additional costs?
Customers that want to crossgrade from standalone AutoCAD LT to a network version (NLM) of
AutoCAD or a vertical solution must pay the associated network activation fee for each license.
- What are the dates of the offer?
The AutoCAD LT Crossgrade Promotion is available for eligible purchase orders submitted from May 5,
2008 through July 18, 2008.
- Can customers combine this promotion with other Autodesk promotions?
Customers may combine this promotion with the Invest in Education Program.
Specific requirements do apply in order to be eligible for this promotion.
