CAD/CAFM Applications Engineer
AMS is an Autodesk Reseller & Registered Developer seeking a professional
who has a good CAD & CAFM background to assist in CAFM software implementation
& development. This includes a wide range of possible services that
are provided to our customers:
- Project Management
- CAFM System Consulting
- CAFM System Design
- CAFM Software Installation & Configuration
- AutoCAD Floor Plan Preparation
- Visual Basic / VBA / VB Script / Database Programming
- System Documentation
In addition, as a CAD AE, AMS services may include:
- AutoCAD Programming/Development
- AutoCAD Support
- Classroom Instruction
- Basic PC & Networking Support
- Autodesk REVIT & Architectural Desktop (ADT) experience a plus
Primary desired skills include:
- Strong AutoCAD Experience (CAD Manager is ideal)
- CAFM Implementation
- AutoCAD Development (LISP, VBA, VB)
- Database Experience (Design/Development)
- Web Development (ASP, JavaScript, HTML)
- Strong Documentation & Communication Skills

CADD Applications Engineer (AE)
Responsible for supporting AutoCAD in every aspect: Training, Programming,
Installation & On-Site Support. AE would be required to travel (drive)
to various clients in Northern & Central NJ and NYC on a weekly basis
to provide on-site support. The AE would also possess skills in customizing
and programming in AutoCAD using Visual Basic (VB). Some CADD Software
training may also be required. Other bonus skills for this position include
Intranet Development, Database Experience, Document Management Experience,
and Microsoft Networking. The right individual can excel and be creative
in this position and grow with the company!
CADD Programmer
Requires programming in Visual Basic to integrate AutoCAD and other database
and office applications together in a project environment. Individual
will work in a team environment with a specific scope of work to create
design automation software for AutoCAD. Responsibilities may also require
programming using VB for document management software. Experience with
JavaScript and Web Development is a plus. Great opportunity for an excellent
VB programmer!
CADD Trainer
Individual with excellent communication skills and a great personality
is needed to teach CADD training classes part-time in the following CADD
software:
- AutoCAD
- Architectural Desktop
- 3D Studio Viz
- Lightscape
- Mechanical Desktop
- AutoCAD Mechanical
- AutoCAD Map
- Land Development Desktop
- Survey
Certification is a requirement. On-site customer training may be required

Document Management Specialist
Position includes consulting, development and support for Engineering
Document Management Systems. Individual will perform customer needs analysis
consulting as well as customization of the software via Visual Basic (VB).
Familiarity with CYCO products AutoManager WorkFlow and AutoManager Meridian
is a huge plus. AMS will train the right candidate in the CYCO software
product AutoManager Meridian. Demonstrations and training skills will
also be required. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced
in database and/or document management who also has VB programming skills!
